Venom® launches the new Venom BlackBook® Zero 15 to the world

Venom launches the new Venom BlackBook Zero 15 to the world.

Melbourne, Australia – 05 July 2017. After the enormous success achieved with the Venom BlackBook Zero 13, Venom has further expanded the Zero range to incorporate the new 15” Venom BlackBook Zero 15.

“With the Venom BlackBook Zero 13 we made the laptop that cannot be replaced by a tablet, and our customers love it.  We wanted to provide our customers with the power for something larger with the same features, it was only natural to take this winning design and apply it faithfully to a 15” form factor that would suit people who wanted a larger portable main personal computer.” stated Jaan Turon, Chief design and Director of Venom Computers.

Making the laptop that cannot be replaced by a tablet

The Venom BlackBook Zero 13 when first conceived was carefully designed at a time when 2:1’s and touchscreen PC’s were becoming mainstream. We took a different approach, we believe people want access to products without compromise, they want an incredible PC experience. The multi award winning BlackBook Zero 13 was highly successful in meeting its design purpose. It was obvious to us that the highly mobile customer who did most of their computing on the go, wanted a device that would be large enough to replace their desktop computer or their main laptop, yet still be portable enough to do actually work and play on. Tablets are fun, but they can’t do everything all the time. The 15” Venom BlackBook Zero 15 was born to make productivity purposeful again.

The same brilliant stealth black aluminium unibody chassis is again what forms the Venom BlackBook Zero 15, with the same ports from the 13 Zero and more. The empowering dual drive design is carried over giving our users the access to both a high speed storage device as well as a built in mass storage drive. Coming in at 1.9kgs/4.19lbs  it is the perfect portable PC. We designed the Venom BlackBook Zero 15 with an nVidia GT 940M graphics card to provide a dedicated graphics platform for people who require more than just productivity. The brilliant 15” IPS panel delivers crystal clear contrast and colours as well as a 178 degree viewing angle perfectly matching the prowess of the dedicated graphics card.

“The BlackBook Zero 15 is our attempt in making the perfect large format portable personal computer for productivity and fun, it is the balance of all things for an empowering experience in portable performance computing for people who have things to say and work to do while seeking a fulfilling entertainment and multimedia experience” stated Jaan.
